Welcome to TheFishponds.co.uk fishery, Mill lane, Colwall.  We are based just outside of the village in the area of Malvern and our site looks onto the Malvern hills. We have three fishing pools that are very well stocked. The Fishponds is located within natural surroundings and offer wonderful natural wildlife,including:Kingfisher, Nuthatch, Woodpeckers, Wagtails,Dragonflies & Butterflies.

We are often visited by birdwatchers and painting groups as well as walking groups, if you wish to make an enquiry please feel free to contact us, we have bathroom facilities and a kiosk offering drinks and snacks.

There is a hard standing car park, ornamental pool – nice to sit and enjoy a cup of tea from the self serve tea facilities and enjoy the view of the Malvern Hills. The Fishponds is PAA approved fishery.

We offer day fishing, night fishing (by appointment), match bookings and we have toilets including disabled facilities.

Main Pond:

The main pond is an ideal  match pond with 38 pegs, naturally fed from theMalvern Hills  stream. This pool is stocked with double figure Common Carp (Mirror & true Crucian),   Bream (11lb), Tench (upto 6lb), Roach and Perch etc, with 23 different species in total.The pond has an average depth of 5 1/2 feet with a small Island feature (island is pictured to the right).

Ideal Child section to the pool:

Fishers in this section of the pool typically catch  Roach, Rudd, Carp , Tench, Bream , here there are  approximately 8 – 10 pegs.

  • Adults £ 6 (day fishing), we do not offer concessions.
  • Children £3.50 (under 16)
  • Night fishing – Please call (currently  overnight, ticket valid until 7:30 A:M)
  • 24 hour ticketsare available

Pond Rules

  • Groundbait – in method feed size only.
  • Barbless hooks only.
  • No floating baits to be used.
  • Catch & Release only.
  • Under 14’s Must be accompanied by an adult.
  • No nuts to be used.
  • No prawns.
  • No keepnets- only in matches.

You will see fish in excellent condition and all of the above rules will hopefully keep them that way.
